In keeping with the home stay concept, the cuisine offered is tailored to meet the same criteria. Simple classic dishes, elegantly presented, with an emphasis on the use of healthy ingredients prepared with a minimal use of oil, butter and packaged spices.
Seasonal vegetables and fruit are used to a large extent and are ingredients used to prepare kohlrabi/raw mango, spinach/feta/orange and pomegranate salad, assorted vegetables tempered in grated coconut and mustard seed are just some of the favourites on our menu.
Our coastal cuisine, highly recommended by our regular patrons, uses only the freshest seafood sourced from the local fisherfolk prepared using the traditional Konkan and Malvani technique.
So whether it be Indian, Asian or Continental our home taught chefs will ensure that all your varied tastes are satisfied.
Going Organic……..
Base ingredients used in our kitchen for all Mango guests and staff have been changed. Only cold pressed oil extracted from organic seeds and rock salt is used in all food preparation. We use herbs and spices sourced from certified vendors and produce purchased from local neighbourhood farms wherever possible.
So whether you choose an organic option or not, you will still get the best of organic on your plate.
