Understanding the Tariff (and Why "Cheaper" Often Isn’t)

What to Confirm Before You Book (Anywhere)

Frequently Asked Questions

Are meals included in the villa tariff at Mango?

Yes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all included and cooked fresh in the house by our kitchen staff, with a focus on Malvani and Konkan coastal food alongside Indian, Asian and continental dishes. Alcohol is not included, and you are welcome to bring your own.

Is there a cook at the villa?

Yes. Every property has an in-house kitchen and staff who prepare all your meals, so you never need to self-cater, hire a cook separately or order in.

Can we choose the menu?

Within reason, yes. Tell us in advance about favourite dishes, allergies, children’s meals or dietary preferences and we will plan around them. Because the kitchen cooks with fresh ingredients bought daily, a little notice helps.

Are meals served at fixed times?

Yes. Because we cook for the whole house rather than to order, breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in set windows rather than on demand at any hour.

Is housekeeping included?

Yes, daily housekeeping is included in the tariff. Extra service beyond the normal daily clean can usually be arranged for a small additional charge.

What is not included in the tariff?

Alcohol is not included, though you may bring your own. Special-occasion menus, certain premium ingredients and any extra service beyond the standard offering may carry an additional cost, which we will always confirm in advance.

Do we book the whole villa or just a room?

You always book the entire property — the house, the pool, the grounds and the privacy of having no other guests. We do not let out individual rooms.
